Jan 20 - Black Garlic White Bean Hummus



If there is a gastronomic equivalent of  "never judge a book by its cover' it would have to be black garlic. For all those who get turned off by garlic's 'aromatic' reputation , getting repulsed may be the natural reaction to black garlic - caramelized to a glorious flavor bomb.

I had volunteered to test this recipe for a community pick on Food52, but turned out that the recipe went on to be a finalist in that particular contest. but for me and the kids  it was a complete treat.  If you're wondering where to find these , I picked up my stock from Trader Joes.
